This document analyzes the most recent technological developments in aircraft manufacturing and their influence on aviation. First, composite materials, for example carbon fiber, helped to significantly reduce the weight of aircraft, which also led to improved fuel efficiency in such transport and decreased carbon dioxide emissions. Additionally, improved aerodynamics helped all aircraft designers reduce the drag coefficient and thus improve overall device performance. Another important area is the development of more efficient and safer propulsion systems; Today, advances in hybrid and electric technologies have played a significant role in reducing the burning of fossil fuels and the release of pollutants. Furthermore, more advanced and efficient engines are also implemented, which not only leads to better performance, but also safety, which is more important in the air than on the road, and reliability. These developments in propulsion systems support the transition to a more environmentally friendly sector. Finally, the use of information and communications technologies has transformed the operation of aircraft themselves and the management of air traffic. Advanced navigation, automation and big data analytics are improving the safety and efficiency of operations. Interconnecting these technologies enables better route management, more effective maintenance programs and an enhanced ability to react quickly to changing conditions, helping to ensure safe and profitable aviation.
