Abstract

This study analyzes the impact and potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and Big Data in optimizing financial strategies and business models for Eduplanet and Yol Editorial, companies focused on education and content publishing. Given the challenges and opportunities in emerging markets, characterized by high demand, economic volatility, and technological barriers, the study aims to explore how these technologies can enhance operational efficiency, personalize services, and optimize resources to strengthen the competitiveness of both organizations. The research adopts a mixed methodological approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses through surveys, interviews with AI and Big Data experts, and a review of secondary data in key markets such as Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru. Expected results include an increase in operational efficiency (up to 30% in Colombia), cost reduction, and tailored strategies based on the specific needs of each market. This work also contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (inclusive education) and SDG 9 (sustainable innovation). The findings emphasize that the implementation of AI and Big Data is not only feasible but represents a key strategy for transforming the operational and financial performance of these companies, solidifying their positioning in emerging markets and generating positive community impacts.
