Abstract

This study analyzes the role of innovative didactic strategies in transforming higher education, particularly in digital environments. Using a qualitative approach based on a narrative literature review, it examines active methodologies such as project-based learning, gamification, microlearning, digital storytelling, and formative assessment supported by artificial intelligence. The findings indicate that these strategies enhance meaningful learning, student motivation, and the development of competencies such as critical thinking and self-regulation. Additionally, the integration of emerging technologies is highlighted as a key factor in personalizing learning and improving feedback processes. However, challenges related to the digital divide, teacher training, and ethical data use are identified. The study concludes that effective didactic innovation requires a coherent integration of methodologies, technology, and pedagogical objectives to meet the demands of contemporary higher education.
