This paper presents the partial results of an ongoing research project that brings together the fields of applied informatics, through analytical artificial intelligence, architectural design, focusing on the stage of volumetric architectural parti and site insertion, and the teaching of Architecture and Urbanism. The objective was to structure a methodology capable of assisting the learning of Architecture and Urbanism through information flows, methods, and active computational techniques for the analysis and generation of architectural alternatives. It was based on the Algorithmic Design Thinking, inspired by the Algorithmic Information Dynamics, understood as a structured process that involves the formulation of guiding principles, the parameterization of variables, and the interaction between the architect and computational tools. The research proposed analytical studies carried out in collaboration with the computer, conceptualizing it as an active partner in the decision-making process. The analytical artificial intelligence was developed using Autodesk Forma software, which enabled the evaluation of environmental and functional constraints, the simulation of different design scenarios, and the exploration of plausible geometric solutions for each context. The results achieved so far have highlighted the didactic and inventive relevance of this approach in theoretical and technological terms, contributing to the systematization of computational methodologies applied to project development, especially within the context of architectural education.
